New Post-doctoral or Senior Researcher Positions

POST-DOCTORAL OR SENIOR RESEARCHER POSITIONS IN THE FIELDS OF:

  • New and emerging materials
  • Electrochemical Energy Storage
  • Heterogeneous Catalysis

The Regional Centre of Advanced Technologies and Materials (RCPTM) –a research division of Czech Advanced Technology and Research Institute (CATRIN) –, affiliated with Palacký University, Olomouc in the Czech Republic, announces:

The opening of new positions for scientists with expertise in advanced materials focused on electrochemical energy storage and/or heterogeneous catalysis.

The targeted applications embrace post-lithium electrochemical energy storage technologies, supercapacitors and metal ion capacitors, energy transformation, catalysis, and photocatalysis.

The successful applicants will:

Understand and tackle the challenges towards the next generation energy storage technologies or heterogeneous catalysis, and identify innovative solutions by leveraging the properties of new and emerging materials and concepts. Compose high-quality scientific articles and participate in fund-raising activities. Cooperate and participate in joint projects and activities.

The applicants must hold a Ph.D. in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or relevant.

CATRIN employees join in Social Insurance (Health insurance, Employee pension insurance, and Employment insurance). The starting salary depends on qualifications.

Performance-based bonus applies.

Submit an application/motivation letter and curriculum vitae to: a.bakandritsos@upol.cz

The e-mail must have the subject “Researcher position in RCPTMto be considered.

DeadlineThe positions will be filled when the appropriate applicants are identified.

All applications are considered, but we often cannot respond to each, considering many submitted applications. We often can only reply to those individuals we seek to set up an interview with.
