Andrey Rogach is a member of the Academia Europaea

Andrey Rogach, who alongside the City University of Hong Kong is also active in CATRIN in the research group Carbon Nanostructures, biomolecules and simulations, was elected an international member of Academia Europaea in 2021.

His research focuses on the engineering, synthesis and optical spectroscopy of semiconductor and metallic nanocrystals and their hybrid structures, along with their use for energy and optoelectronic applications.

Academia Europaea is a European non-governmental association having about 4,500 members including 70 Nobel laureates. This Academy aims to support European research, provide advice to policymakers and international organisations on scientific issues and promote interdisciplinary and international research.
